Rashida Jones

Rashida Jones is the CEO of Uncensored, the next generation media company founded by award-winning journalist Piers Morgan.

She oversees all aspects of Uncensored's global operations and is responsible for driving audience growth and international expansion through innovative programming, digital distribution, strategic partnerships, live events and more.

Previously, she served as a strategic advisor to global media, sports and technology enterprises, guiding high-value mergers and acquisitions, cross-border transactions, and global expansion initiatives.

Working closely with executive leadership and boards, Jones provided counsel on content development, leadership, governance, and accountability.

Before that, Jones was President of MSNBC where she held end-to-end responsibility for the performance and growth of a multi-hundred-million-dollar business and led the organization’s transition to a digital-first, omnichannel operating model spanning streaming, social video, film, podcasts, newsletters, and live events.

Her tenure was marked by sustained profitability and consistent revenue and cash-flow performance amid significant industry change.

Jones has won two Emmys, three Edward R. Murrow Awards and was honored with the RTDNA 2022 First Amendment Award.
Jones is Chair of the CEO Council for World Leaders in Data and AI and serves on the Board of Directors for The Alliance for Women in Media, Hampton University and the We Are Family Foundation.

She is a Henry Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute and Fellow of The Knight Center for the Future of News at Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. She holds both a B.A. and an MBA from Hampton University.
