Luca Rodella

Luca Rodella is the CEO and Co-founder of Smartness, an Italian technology company building software and AI solutions for the hospitality industry.

He founded Smartness in 2020, during one of the most challenging periods for global travel, with the goal of helping hotels and accommodation providers improve performance through technology, automation, and smarter use of data. Since then, together with his team, he has helped build one of Europe’s fastest-growing vertical SaaS companies in the lodging space.

Today, Smartness operates in more than 40 countries, serves thousands of accommodation providers, and has raised over €60 million from international investors. The company is building a vertically integrated AI platform spanning pricing, marketing, guest communication, operations, and payments, with the ambition of becoming a global reference point for innovation in hospitality technology.
