Marco Ogliengo

He holds a degree in International Management with a Double Degree from Bocconi University in Milan and Fudan University in Shanghai. After a stint at McKinsey, he joined Zalora Group, a luxury marketplace, serving as Managing Director for Taiwan and Indonesia. Upon returning to Italy, in 2015 he co-founded ProntoPro alongside his wife Silvia Wang — a platform connecting clients with professionals — which he led until 2021, when he oversaw its merger with Turkish company Armut, growing it to over 5 million customers and nearly 700,000 professionals registered on the platform, before making his exit from the company.

Having experienced firsthand, as an entrepreneur, the enormous challenges of managing HR bureaucracy — and recognizing the potential of technology — in December 2022 he decided to tackle the problem and co-founded Jet HR together with Francesco Scalambrino.

The company aims to eliminate bureaucratic complexity by developing a model and related technology platform for HR management, breaking down all organizational and comprehension barriers by simplifying and automating the administrative processes of SMEs, as well as startups and established companies, ranging from 1 to hundreds of employees. The project immediately won over VCs and some of Italy's most successful innovators: in just 6 months, the company attracted €4.7 million in investment, closing in June 2023 the highest pre-seed round ever recorded in the Italian market and immediately launching operations. After one year on the market, Jet HR closed a new seed round of €12M with the entry of its first international VC, Picus Capital. In June 2025, a further €25M round led by US-based VC BASE10 brought total funding to €41.7M. Spanning SMEs, startups, multinationals, and listed companies, Jet HR already counts 1,500 client companies — a number that continues to grow — that have chosen the Jet HR solution.
