Nick recognised the power of sport to have a societal impact in the late 90s and has since dedicated his working life to it. Today, Nick is seen as a leader in the field: inspiring and delivering positive change while delivering social and commercial value.

Having founded the world’s largest sports business awards, Nick set out to leverage this network to tackle some of the most complex issues faced by the world through a global foundation, Beyond Sport. Delivering initiatives that focus on sport’s role in racial justice, mental wellbeing, crisis response, access to movement, and gender equality, Beyond Sport’s work has provided support to 384 non-profit organisations operating in 75 countries, providing a range of capacity building support and over $9.5 million in cash funding. Beyond Sport is very fortunate to have the support of partners that include Unilever, NBA, Under Armour, New Balance, Z Zurich Foundation, ESPN, TeamSnap, NFL, and Sun Life.

Think Beyond was founded in 2014 and has since grown into one of the world’s leading impact consultancies, helping brands and rightsholders to find their purpose and deliver on it. From supporting Disney, Zurich, and Subway deliver positive social impact through sport, to advising a huge portfolio of rightsholders such as Liverpool FC, NASCAR and the IOC, all with a lens of delivering social and commercial value.
