Jose Marin

Jose Marin is a serial entrepreneur, angel investor, and co-founder of FJ Labs, an early-stage venture firm focused on online marketplaces and network effects businesses. FJ Labs has backed over 1,100 companies globally including Alibaba, Betterment, Coupang, Delivery Hero, Fanduel and Flexport, and has been directly engaged in building companies such as AdoreMe, Letgo, Properly and Rebag. Prior to FJ Labs, Jose was the co-founder of DeRemate.com, a leading online auction platform in Latin America (acq. Mercado Libre). Jose holds an MA in International Economics and an MBA from Stanford University, where he teaches a bi-annual marketplace entrepreneurship class. He is based between London and NYC, loves flying and extreme sports, plays the piano, and speaks five languages.
